I’m here to help you change your relationship with alcohol and make a positive difference to your life.
Twenty-seven years in education and a coaching qualification have equipped me with the skills to support colleagues through their own personal inquiries; a process of identifying and following their passions in order to learn and grow.
As I began to realise what impact positive psychology and neurolinguistic programming can have on wellbeing and quality of life I wanted to share the skills and knowledge I have learned along the way to help other people change their relationship with alcohol and get the most out of their lives.
Unlike other programmes you don’t have to decide to give up alcohol permanently to take part in our challenges, even a 4 week break from alcohol has been scientifically proven to have many health benefits. Ultimately, everyone’s journey is their own, but if you want to join a supportive, non judgemental community to give you accountability and support then sign up with us. We can help make taking a break from alcohol a really positive experience. We aim to shift your mindset from what you are missing to focus on what you will gain instead.

MY JOURNEY
I became sober curious in 2016 following a personal trauma. I felt overweight, unhealthy and unhappy. I needed to make some changes…..and taking a break from alcohol seemed like a great place to start.
I joined a fitness program, stopped drinking alcohol and began to turn my physical and mental health around. Since then I have had an on and off relationship with alcohol, several periods of abstinence followed by some social drinking. I’m currently on a year off.
Will I ever have a glass of wine again ? The honest answer is “I don’t know”.
What I do know however, is that I love the feeling of waking up feeling fresh and healthy in body and mind every day. For me living without alcohol is amazing. At the moment this isn’t something I want to lose and my perspective on alcohol has definitely changed forever.
My sober journey has been a time of discovery, I realised many of my beliefs about alcohol were unfounded – I can dance and talk to people in social situations without alcohol and it is actually ok to feel socially awkward in these situations. I can have fun without booze, it is somehow more ‘real’, for a start I remember the conversations and the best bit is no hangover the next morning !
Coming to these realisations took time, research and hard work over a few years for me. I would love the opportunity to share these ideas and beliefs with you through a Bin the Booze challenge to save you some of that hard work.
