Bin the Booze challenges are aimed at people who are 18 and over and want to reset their relationship with alcohol.
Whether you want to take a break from alcohol for a short time or are looking to make a more permanent change, we can help you.
Please note: If you are a heavy drinker, we suggest you seek professional medical help before giving up alcohol as you may need monitoring or medical help during any kind of detox period.
What is the difference between a BTB challenge and Alcoholics Annonymous?
At BTB we have huge respect for AA and the many other organisations which help people who are struggling with alcoholism. AA is a free service run mainly by volunteers and is firmly committed to supporting people to live an alcohol free life. However, the AA philosophy and methodology doesn’t always suit everyone, especially those wanting to take an alcohol break but maybe not give up entirely. Do I have to want to give up alcohol forever to join a BTB challenge?
No, absolutely not.
At BTB we encourage our clients to commit to a period alcohol free and use this time and the resources we provide to re analyse their relationship with alcohol. Following this is it’s up to you whether you return to a drinking lifestyle or stay alcohol free. We don’t judge, we just want to give you the opportunity to take a step back and check whether alcohol is adding benefit to your life.
